Device Software Update

Teleca offers a device SW update solution for upgrading devices to the latest software version letting end users access new features, updated applications and the latest performance improvements. The update process is quick, intuitive and secure. The user simply connects the device and follows the screen prompts. After confirming an update, Teleca device SW update will download that update and install it on the connected device. By using the PC or Mac internet connection the risk of expensive data charges are avoided.

The solution can be delivered as an End-user or Software Development variant.

The focus on the End-user version is a nice, simple and intuitive UI which gives a secure transfer and upgrade of the device to latest platform SW. For Android devices it will be delivered with the Teleca connectivity package for Android which is easily integrated with the device platform.

The SW Development version is for use during the development phase of a device supporting developers and testers to easily reflash devices. Teleca Device Software Update makes unfriendly command line tools superfluous. The configuration is quite extensive and supports several devices connected, latest builds and older versions.

For Android devices the tool make use of ADB for flashing engineering builds.
